I'm watching Stuart: A Life Backwards now and can't keep to type down this thought. When i see something that is okay or so-so, not ambitious, I always think maybe it's good to be so-so. I had believed in the mindset of becoming so-so is awful and dull but apparently I change my mind.
This is the lesson that I told you the most difficult. To be grateful. It doesn't mean you stop fighting, stop innovating, no. This is the lesson for anyone who wants to think himself as somebody else. In this case, myself.
We often let down when what see a great thing doesn't considered that great to somebody else. We often disappointed with the real situation because it doesn't suit with our ideas of this life. Or maybe we don't want to see that: I'm fatter than her, I'm not as clever as her in Math, I'm not taller than my junior, I have chubby cheeks, I can't speak loudly like him, and all. These and the other unnecessary comparison happen whole our lives. It's normal, it become dangerous when you value yourself with this point of view..
What's the point of seeing life by the sake of other's will? How about our wants? It doesn't matter if our shoes are not more astonishing than her, because we LOVE them. It doesn't matter also if you're not as slim as her, you can change it without being slaved by the poor judgement of body and self-worthy.
It's like when i think this movie is cool, it's well starred, well directed, and some of so-called pro critics say it's lousy... They're annoying and ruin your amusement. But let them be, simply say; SCREW YOU ALL. If you don't enjoy this you miss a lot. My self-judgement is above yours!
So, don't often think; this life is better when you take care of others. Sometimes it's fucking wrong (yes, that was F word I said)! Sometimes, no.. MANY times it's better to close your eyes, don't care at most of things and your life will be so much enjoyable.
As Noel says: "Take what you need, be on your way and stop crying your heart out"
